First roles
Eva Amurri was born on March 15, 1985. Eva's father Franco Amurri is an Italian director, and Susan Sarandon's mother is a Hollywood actress. But it should be noted that Susan and Franco did not create a family, their relationship was not formalized.
As a child, Eva spent a lot of time filming with her mother, and could see the entire "inner kitchen" of making feature films. Already at the age of seven she first appeared on the screen - in the satirical comedy "Bob Roberts" (1992).
Her next small role was in the famous crime drama of 1995, "The Dead Man Comes" (directed by Tom Robbins). The mother of Eva Susan Sarandon also starred here. And she starred very successfully - she was awarded an Oscar in the nomination for Best Actress for her work in this film (she played a Catholic nun who is trying to save her ward, a murderer named Matthew) from the death penalty.
Then there were two more films where Eva appeared in minor roles - “Anywhere but here” and “Earthly Desires” (1999).
The participation of the actress in films and TV shows after 2000
Significant for the career of Amurri was the film "Sisters Banger" of 2002. The young actress played here the daughter of one of the main characters. Critics about this movie and about the work in it of Eva Amurri responded very flattering. In fact, it was “Sisters Banger” that allowed the actress to gain the first serious fame.
In 2004, Eva starred in the pseudo-documentary film "Made-Up" and in the black youth comedy "Saved" (here Macaulay Culkin was her partner on the set).
In 2007, the full-length film "Moments of Life" was released in America, where Eva Amurri and Uma Thurman played key characters - two girlfriends who once had a terrible tragedy once in school.
The next film with Eva Amurri in the title role was called "Halfway to Nowhere", it was released in 2008. The heroine of Eve in this case is called Gray. Gray lives in a small provincial town and wants to go to college. But suddenly it turns out that the money that was put aside for her studies, the mother decided to spend on something else …
Further, Eva Amurri began to appear mainly in television series. In particular, she can be seen in the TV series "Lascivious California" (2007-2014). The role she played there, although it was secondary, but still caused a new wave of interest in the actress. Also, Eve Amurri can be seen in the TV series "House, " "How I Met Your Mother, " "New Girl, " "Fish Science, " "The Mindy Project, " and so on.
In 2016, the actress took part in the touching full-length drama "Mother's Day." Susan Sarandon starred in this tape. Interestingly, she played just the mother of the heroine Eva Amurri.
