Childhood and youth
According to some astrologers, the time and place of birth determines the future fate of the child. There is a certain amount of truth in this message. Alexander Yuryevich Ermakov was born on May 29, 1952 in an ordinary Soviet family. Parents at that time lived in a small village called Tolokonnoye, in the Belgorod region. Beautiful places, a river and oak groves disposed to appeasement and contemplation. Father worked as a blacksmith. Mother was engaged in housework. Sasha, because of his abilities, helped the elders.
Ermakov went to the first class already in the famous city of Kharkov. Father was invited to work at a tractor factory. Alexander studied well at school. His favorite subjects were history and literature. Already in the elementary grades, the future actor actively participated in amateur performances. He performed ditties that he brought from the village. From the sixth grade, he began to practice regularly in a drama studio, which operated at the city House of Pioneers and Schoolchildren. The kids on the street nicknamed him the "artist."
Professional activity
For relatives and friends, Alexander’s decision to get an acting education was not surprising. In 1969 he graduated from school and, having received money from his parents for a ticket, went to the city of Gorky to enroll in a theater school. In 1972, a graduated actor was assigned to serve in the Gorky Comedy Theater. There was no dormitory at the theater, and the actor wandered around rented apartments. After two theatrical seasons, Ermakov had to return home and enter the Kharkov Theater of Young Spectators. In 1981, he was invited to the troupe of the Pushkin Moscow Theater.
On the stage of the capital, Yermakov’s acting career developed quite safely. For more than fourteen years he participated in classic and new productions. Connoisseurs of theatrical art deliberately came to the play "The Examiner", in which Alexander Yurievich played a major role. For this work, Ermakov received an award from the Russian government. Since the mid-80s, he was regularly invited to act in films. The actor played the title role in the film "Demidov" organically and convincingly. After this project, they began to recognize him on the street.
