Entin Yuri - the famous poet and songwriter, author of lyrics for cartoons, children's films. Yuri Sergeyevich composed more than 600 songs, participated in the creation of about 150 films.

early years
Yuri Sergeyevich was born on August 21, 1935. His hometown is Moscow. He is Jewish by nationality. His father was a physicist, his mother worked as an economist.
In childhood, the boy became interested in music early, often listened to records with children's songs. They wanted to record him in a music school, bought a violin, but the war began. In the army, his father was a translator. The remaining family was evacuated to Orenburg.
As a schoolboy, Yura was carried away by history, literature, and was the editor of a wall newspaper. He graduated from the Pedagogical Institute (Department of History), worked for a year as a teacher at school.
Then Entin began his studies at the printing institute (editing department). After high school, he worked in the printing house as a proofreader, then he worked in publishing houses, rose to the post of head of the editorial office. In 1962, Entin became the head of the company "Melody", having worked in this position until 1969.
Creative activity
At 33, Yuri began to engage in poetry. Once he got on the set of the film “Zastava Ilyich”, where poets of the sixties (Rozhdestvensky Robert, Akhmadulina Bella, Evtushenko Evgeny) recited poems. Hutsiev Marlene, director, invited those sitting in the hall to read their essays. Entin read poetry parodies of the verses he heard.
Among the public was Gladkov Gennady, composer, he invited Yuri to collaborate. Entin met with Livanov Vasily. The three of them came up with the cartoon "Bremen Town Musicians" which was successful.
Then Yuri quit and began writing songs. He was the author of scripts for many cartoons, wrote the script for the movie "Mom". Entin composed songs for many children's films, invented the song “Antoshka”, the song of Vodyanoy “And I want to fly” and many others. He collaborated with famous composers: Tukhmanov Davil, Maxim Dunaevsky, Vladimir Shainsky and others.
Yuri Sergeyevich published many books, was the author of musicals, children's television shows. He organized children's song contests, was a producer of performances. Entin created the Creative Center, was engaged in the development of the project "Winged Swing".
