Eliana Giardini - a famous Brazilian actress and screenwriter, she was born in the city of Sorocaba (state of Sao Paulo) in October 1952. The actress's father was the owner of a small mechanical workshop, his mother was a housewife. Even in childhood, Eliana discovered acting talent and participated in rehearsals of a theater troupe that belonged to the father of her school friend. According to the actress, even then she was seized by the opportunity to play reincarnations, intellectual preparation for the role and a gambling mood when presenting her own character, not inherent in any other professions.
Studying science at a Catholic boarding school in her youth, Eliana planned to study philosophy and linguistics, but participating in a 17-year-old in a small film version changed the girl’s intentions. A year later, she was invited to the theater group and there she met her future husband Paolo Betty. Both took part in a theater festival and were awarded scholarships to study at the São Paulo School of Dramatic Art, where they went to receive a theater education.

While studying at the Art School, Eliane continues to play and play small roles in local film productions, while working with her future husband Paolo Betty in the theater troupe "Pessoal do Victor". In 1973, Eliana became engaged to Paolo Betty, whose career was already rapidly developing and moving away from creativity, devoting most of her time to caring for the family. In 1977, their first daughter Julianne was born, and soon the second Marianne. With the advent of children, the acting career of Eliana fades into the background. In 1985, the family moved to Rio de Janeiro, where Paolo offered to participate in television projects that made him famous not only in his native Brazil.
