Biography
Joshua Winslow Groban, better known as Josh Groban, was born February 27, 1981 in Los Angeles, California. The boy was born in the family of school teacher Linda Groban and businessman Jack Groban. He has a brother, Chris Groban, who is four years younger than Josh.
Groban began to show interest in music from early childhood. By decision of his parents, he received his secondary education at Bridges Academy. The educational institution is famous for its educational program, which is based on the development of talents of gifted children.
Then, Josh continued his studies at the Interlochen Center for the Arts, where dozens of young people from around the world annually come to study in the fields of music, theater, dance, visual arts, cinema, etc. Groban successfully graduated from Interlochen with a degree in musical theater.

In 1999, he graduated from Los Angeles County High School Arts with a major in theater, and then began attending Carnegie Mellon University. However, after four months, Josh dropped out of college.
Career
Josh Groban's musical career began at age 17, when the talent of a young artist was noticed by musician and producer David Foster. It was he who in 1999 invited Groban to act as an understudy of the Italian singer Andrea Bocelli at the rehearsal of the Grammy ceremony and to perform one of the compositions with Celine Dion. Josh Groban's third album "Awake" was released in 2006. He was no less successful than the two previous works of the singer. The album went platinum twice. Soon he presented his collection "Noyol", which collected Christmas compositions from around the world.
On November 15, 2010, Josh released his fifth studio album, entitled "Illuminations", in which 11 of 133 tracks he wrote himself.
