British actor John Boyega is known to viewers for his role as Finn in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Star Wars: The Last Jedi. early years
John was born in March 1992 in England. His family emigrated from Nigeria and settled in one of the districts of London. The boy’s father belonged to the Pentecostal church and preached there, while his mother volunteered and took care of the disabled.
Creativity carried the boy back to school. From the first classes he began to participate in theatrical productions, and he was even invited several times to the local children's theater, where he also performed on stage. It was then that the boy had a dream, to become a famous actor.
Parents supported John in his passion for theater and sent him to study at the theater school. Having received a secondary education, the young man went to college, where he studied theater skills.
After graduating from college, John was accepted into the theater troupe of the National Theater, where he successfully demonstrated his acting capabilities and played in many productions. One of its main roles was the Shakespearean character Othello in the eponymous tragedy of the great writer. Prior to his cinematic career, John also worked at the Packham Theater for a long time.
Film career
Boyega received his first roles on television. Back in his student years, he first got on the set of the series "Become Human" and "Law and Order", where John got episodic roles.
