The unexpected death on August 9, 2018 of the brilliant actor and director of the theater and cinema, screenwriter and theater teacher - Honored Artist of Russia Dmitry Vladimirovich Brusnikin - was a real loss for our country. On November 17, 1957, the future idol of millions of compatriots was born in the family of a soldier who was giving military duty to his homeland in the German Potsdam. Due to the nomadic profession of his father, Dima was forced to change schools very often. And already at the age of fifteen, he received a certificate of secondary education and entered with the elder brother Mikhail at the Institute of Electronic Technology in Zelenograd.
Since 1975, under the patronage of his brother, Dmitry tried himself in acting, meeting with the director and many actors of the People’s Theater in Zelenograd. Going on stage, he was imbued with the spirit of the actor and decided to continue his education in this direction. And in 1978, Brusnikin entered the course of Oleg Nikolaevich Efremov at the Moscow Art Theater School.
It was here that Dmitry Vladimirovich played many theatrical roles and even met his future wife. At the end of the legendary theater university, he began to serve in the troupe of the Moscow Art Theater. And since 1982, he began teaching in his native alma mater. First, as an assistant in acting, and since 1983 as a teacher, gaining his first year of students.
The debut in the cinema took place with Dmitry Vladimirovich in 1984, when he played his first role as a Red Army soldier in the film "Squad". Here he went to the set with his classmates Sergey Garmash and Alexander Feklistov. Since the mid-eighties, the aspiring actor has undergone serious creative growth. Then he worked in the Theater-Studio "Man", where he marked his directorial debut in the production of "Waiting for Godot, " became an actor in the Moscow Art Theater. Chekhov (after the separation of his native Studio School) under the leadership of Oleg Efremov, continued to act in films.
The real fame for Dmitry Brusnikin came after the rental of the sensational historical series “Petersburg Secrets”, where in the image of one of the main characters of the picture - Prince Dmitry Platonovich Shadursky - he brilliantly showed his talent as a lyceum.
