Professional activity
In 1986, Dmitry successfully completed his studies in the specialty "History, Japanese." As part of the curriculum, he spent almost half a year at the University of Tokyo. Having received a diploma, Streltsov entered graduate school at the Institute of Oriental Studies at the USSR Academy of Sciences. The scientific interests of the scientist were wide. He investigated the problems of nuclear power. By that time, several nuclear power plants operated by American specialists were operating in Japan. Dmitry Viktorovich was engaged not only in scientific research. For several years, Streltsov worked as an expert in the trade mission of the Russian Federation in Tokyo. He lectured on the history of Russia to students of the University of Okinawa. In 2003 he defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic "The System of Public Administration of Japan in the Postwar Period".
