David Foster is a Canadian musician, composer, arranger, winner of 16 Grammy music awards. One of the most successful producers in the history of pop music. David was born in the Canadian city of Victoria in the fall of 1949 into a large family. His father was a worker in a car repair company, and his mother was engaged in housekeeping and raising children.
In his autobiographical book "Hitman", the musician told the story that one day his mother wiped dust from a piano and accidentally hit one of the keys. Hearing the sound, the boy accurately named the note, finding that he had perfect hearing.
Foster's creative biography began at the age of 4. For a long time he persuaded his parents to send him to a music school, in the end they agreed. David began attending piano lessons and soon achieved great success, becoming one of the best students.
He received his primary education, the young man continued to study music. He became participants in a special program for the training of musicians at the University of Washington, and then began performing on stage.
