A New Year's gift from the state in the form of price increases for a number of goods and services does not surprise anyone. 2012 was no exception. Literally in the first days of January, the media already began to disseminate information about what exactly everyone will pay more for in the new year.

Instruction manual
1
The increase in prices in the first place hit hard on motorists. Now they will have to lay out a much larger amount for gasoline. This is due to the fact that the government decided to increase excise stamps on fuel not by 1.3 p. (as previously planned), and twice as much - by 2.6 p. Diesel fuel is also not far behind: instead of the promised 1.1 p. increase to 2.8r.
2
In 2012, the services of transporters, namely Russian Railways, will also rise in price. The increase in the fare is planned in relation to reserved seats and general wagons. It will look like this: a coefficient of 2.995 is added, which in turn leads to an increase in the cost of railway tickets to almost 300%. Such a rise in price is explained by the new policy of the railways, aimed at abandoning reserved seats and common wagons in the direction of compartments.
3
Since January, the rise in price of foodstuffs began, on average by 12-15%. Write off this for the season and revisions of contracts with suppliers. Thus, prices for sausage increased by an average of 10-15%. Following them are expected and the rise in the cost of meat. Experts are sure: if the ruble falls, then food prices will soar even more.
4
Following gasoline, train tickets, and food, alcohol and tobacco prices went up. This is also associated with an increase in excise taxes and higher tax rates on these groups of goods. Moreover, the increase in prices for these goods is not one-time - in the middle of the year, prices for them will grow a little more.
5
Of course, the permanent leader in the rating of price growth was, is and will be tariffs for utilities. The only difference is that in 2012 tariffs will be raised for the first time in the middle of the year - in July. And not in January, as usual. Electricity will become 3% more expensive, gas - 15, and heat - 6. However, surprises do not end there. Literally in a couple of months after the first increase, the second will also pass.
