Filming a movie is quite troublesome. But if you still want to make an amateur film, then move laziness to the side. Instead, take the initiative, charge the producers with your ideas, and approach the shooting creatively.
Before starting work, you need to decide on the plot and title (thriller or love story, etc.). After that write a small plan, as in the process of thinking about the topic, thoughts will arise about a particular scene that should be recorded.
Despite the genre of motion pictures, the plot needs to be built according to the following scheme: plot, development of events, conflict, climax, denouement, ending. The viewer should, at the very first frames, form his idea of the heroes and feel the intrigue. There must be a critical moment in the film - a conflict, without it the movie will turn out to be “blurred” in the plot. And of course, events should be logically completed.
The script for the film must be written in advance, while having thought it through in detail and painted on the episodes. It’s best to write at least two screenwriters. As practice shows, such films are the most successful. The finished text should be rewritten in the final version, indicating the scenes, time, location, props and scenery.
When preparing the script, it is immediately necessary to look for musical accompaniment to the movie, which should reflect its emotional mood.
The selection of actors should be carried out not only according to external data, but also through conversations about their heroes, for the best experience in the role. When filming, actors should not look into the camera, but they must be placed in the frame so that the spin is not visible. The most advantageous position is when the actor is turned half-sided towards the camera.
When shooting frames, there should be silence, and there should be a pause after the command: "stop, off!". This will help to mount the picture faster. To shoot an amateur film, one or two cameras with a good resolution, a tripod and a pair of lighting devices are enough.
When editing a picture, everything superfluous is cut out, special effects are superimposed. Video processing is performed using special programs.
The more labor and patience will be invested in shooting the film, the less spontaneity will be in the frames, the more sympathy of the audience your creation will collect.
