On August 7, 2012, the leader of the Time Machine group announced that he had written an open letter to President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. About his deed, he said the following: "Accumulating, accumulating, and then the cup is full." The dissatisfaction of Andrei Vadimovich caused a high level of corruption in the country.

Government officials argue that defending their rights is a judicial process. Especially when it comes to corruption. But the leader of the “Time Machine” group claims that such measures are not suitable for Russia. After all, he is sure, the judicial apparatus in our country is either a machine for punishing those who are objectionable, or an apparatus for taking money from plaintiffs.
Andrei Vadimovich claims that over the past five to six years, the level of corruption has risen sharply. And if earlier the rollback was about 30 percent, now it has grown to 70 percent. Of course, this state of affairs cannot suit honest citizens. Makarevich asks the president to resolve the issue of corruption in the country, without, however, naming methods to combat it. A well-known musician does not expect any decision or change in existing laws. He just does what he cannot but do. According to him, he was faced with a situation where the rollback amounted to a fabulous sum, namely 95 percent.
Makarevich warns that if the situation in the country does not change, this could threaten a "total catastrophe." The musician is sure that serious changes in the state occur only at the will of the leaders. Andrei Vadimovich hopes that the president cares about the situation in the country, and he simply does not fully understand the depth and gravity of the problem.
The leader of the Time Machine group claims that the country is divided into two parts. One of them feeds from kickbacks, and the other is afraid of losing its 30 percent (what remains after the rollback). Moreover, in his blog, the musician claims that such a division is a deliberate result of the work of Vladimir Vladimirovich. In his letter, however, he did not say such a thing. On the contrary, he asked the president to restore order in the country.
Andrei Makarevich in recent years began to become interested in politics. Some time ago, he even supported the famous billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov. And later he participated in the signing of a letter in support of the rock band Pussy Riot.
