The budget of a modern film always lays the funds for a wide advertising campaign. A good advertising campaign includes print advertising, putting up posters and, of course, Internet and video advertising. Any film can be found on specialized sites dedicated to cinema to find out which actors are playing there, what budget is spent on shooting, look at the frames from the film or see the future soundtrack.
Why do I need a teaser?
To warm the audience’s attention, the filmmakers release a teaser. Such a video is mounted before the end of the filming period of the film, so it uses only the available material. If the film has just started to be shot, a teaser can show several frames, sketches and a list of actors. Usually a teaser lasts half a minute, the maximum duration of a teaser can not exceed minutes and twenty seconds. Sometimes frames that hit the teaser can be excluded from the picture itself during editing.
For one film, several teasers can be released in order to maintain the viewer's interest in a large-scale project. Very often the frames of teasers are not accompanied by dialogues and sound effects, but simply by atmospheric music. The name "teaser" itself comes from the English verb to tease, that is, to tease. A good teaser inflames the imagination of the viewer, makes him look forward to the release of the picture on large screens or at least the appearance of new, relevant information about the shooting process.
