1
The formation of values is influenced by upbringing, customs and traditions. They can be both material and spiritual. Values have a great impact on behavior, culture and the individual, and society as a whole.
2
Different nations value systems can vary significantly. It depends on many factors. However, there are some universal values. In almost all nations, killing a person without extenuating circumstances (for example, without self-defense) is considered a serious crime, encroaching on the highest value - life. Theft, lying, breach of trust and other negative acts are also strongly condemned.

In the culture of the Russian people, the values that have been formed over many centuries are clearly visible: mutual assistance ("Die yourself, and help a comrade"), hard work ("You can’t get the fish out of the pond without labor", "If you want to eat Kalachi, don’t sit on the stove"), selflessness ("I will give the last shirt"). At the same time, these worthy qualities are combined with caution and prudence (“Measure seven times, cut once”, “Word - silver, silence - gold”), and sometimes with slackness (“Maybe it’ll carry you through”). All this is reflected in Russian folk tales, epics.
4
In Muslim culture, the absolute deity is the supreme deity - Allah and the rules established by him, set forth in the Qur'an. According to the canons of Islam, depicting a person is forbidden, so the artistic imagination of Muslim masters finds a way out in ornamentalism. The plant ligature created by them (including stone) are genuine works of art. Also, a seemingly paradoxical phenomenon is characteristic of Muslim culture: extremely sensual, on the verge of erotica, lyrics praising the beauty, tenderness and love of a woman, combined with open discrimination of the weaker sex in society.
5
For Japanese culture, values are simplicity, conciseness, combined with a high degree of responsibility. The Japanese attach great importance to the way their actions, behavior look in the eyes of others. "Lose face", that is, to humiliate oneself, be caught in something shameful, inappropriate, for many Japanese worse than death.

The main values of American culture are individualism, the desire to achieve success. This is often combined with absolute confidence in its “missionary” mission - to bring American values to the whole world without being interested in his opinion on this matter.
