Dmitry Brekotkin is a Russian comedian, actor and showman. For the first time this famous artist appeared on TV during the games in the major league of KVN.

Biography
Dmitry Brekotkin was born in Yekaterinburg, then the city was called Sverdlovsk - in 1970, on March 28. Dmitry was very active from childhood. From an early age he went in for sports, but because of his restlessness, he did not stay anywhere for long. The only sporting achievement that Brekotkin was able to achieve was the Sambo CCM.
After graduating from high school, Dmitry was drafted into the army, where he served two years in the tank forces. The period of military service fell at the end of the 80s, in the Soviet Union there were many military units outside the country, in socialist states. The part in which Brekotkin served was based in Germany. Dmitry was demobilized as a sergeant.
Returning to his native Sverdlovsk, Dmitry entered the Institute at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. This choice was made primarily due to a small competition. During his studies at the university, he met his future teammates Dmitry Sokolov and Sergey Ershov, who invited him to play in KVN. The team was called "Ural dumplings." In 1999, the Ural Dumplings won the KiViN in Light statuette at one of the awards at the annual festival, and a year later they won the title of champions of the major league.
Career
Due to his passion for playing in KVN, Dmitry skipped classes and poorly studied, as a result, he completely abandoned his studies, and he was expelled. Continuing to play in KVN, he got a job on a construction site, mastered most of the construction professions, and even became a team leader. Combining work and play was getting harder and one day I had to make the final choice. Dmitry left the construction site and plunged headlong into creativity.
Over time, Dmitry gained popularity and began to try himself as a host and actor. One of the first successful appearances on the screen outside of KVN is the TNT humorous project “Show News”. In 2007 he participated in the entertainment program "Wall to Wall". But the real success was brought by a joint project with partners on the KVN team. In 2009, on the STS channel, they launched their own show, The Ural Dumplings Show, where they were authors and actors at the same time. The project has become so popular that it is still ongoing.
Despite the high busyness of his own show, the famous artist does not forget KVN, periodically appears there in the role of a guest star helping young teams. He willingly participates in anniversary games, and in 2017 Dmitry made his debut on the big screen. He played one of the main roles in the film "Lucky Case".
