Often on television screens show films with the participation of actors of the Soviet Baltic. However, not much is known about the fate of those employed in the film. This happened with Lina Braknite, whose fate was conceived in the distant seventies.
Lina Braknite, who played the role of Suok in the movie Three Fat Men, was called a girl with cornflower-blue eyes. Although she never became an actress, she won the hearts of millions of boys, playing only a few roles in childhood.
First debut
The first time an eleven-year-old Lina appeared on the screen in the movie "Girl and the Echo." A little later, she got the role of Suok in a movie story about three fat men. However, after seventeen, the young actress stopped acting.
Linino childhood passed in Vilnius. Parents had nothing to do with cinema. He himself came to Braknite. Where the girl studied. She did not even dream about filming. An assistant director came to school in search of an actress for the main role in the film based on the story of Yuri Nagibin "Girl and the Echo."
The big-eyed, small, slender and very expressive girl just shocked the entire crew. Very soon reject approved. The schoolgirl played without difficulty, sometimes restructuring the script for herself. If Vika remained broken in the book because of her betrayal, then in the film she left undefeated.
The tape was seen by more than six million viewers. This is a lot for the film from the category of "children's". The work was mentioned in film encyclopedias, it was literally bombarded with various praises at festivals.

After a successful film debut, no more than two years passed when Lina was invited to work in another picture. So Braknite, who acted only in films for young viewers, got the role that made the girl a celebrity at a single moment.
The film "Three Fat Men" burst into her fate, in which the little actress got the role of Suok. Later, adults happily recalled filming with a girl.
They said that working with her was easy, the hardworking actress was attentive to all the comments. A difficult moment was the dubbing.
For this reason, Alice Freindlich, the girl’s senior colleague, helped the girl to voice part of the scenes. Fame came immediately. Almost immediately after the release of the picture on the screens, letters from fans poured in a shower. There are also new works.
In 1967, Lina played her most serious role. And now thanks to her, the matured doll of the heir to Tutti is recognized. But years have passed not so few. Star role Director Radomir Vasilevsky decided to shoot the picture "Dubravka" about a girl, unlike others, wild, but with a huge and tender heart.
The talented work of the young actress was recognized as the best female role. The performer was awarded the corresponding award in 1967 at the republican festival. Four years later, another film, The Sea of Our Hope, entered the girl’s biography. In an interesting picture, Braknite played, as always, sincerely.
In front of the camera lens, the young actress was amazingly natural. The girl was able to vividly realize the image conceived by the director. After graduation, little is known about the biography of the girl.
Marry went to Moscow for admission VGIK. The attempt failed. The applicant returned home to Vilnius. She decided to enter the Faculty of History in order to get higher education there. Lina deliberately decided to become a historian. She was always interested in antiquity. Acting, so suddenly bursting into her life, only distracted from her favorite pastime.
After graduation, Braknite worked for more than two decades in the rare book department of the library at the Institute of History. She rarely mentions film works. Lina tries not to communicate with reporters. And the woman talks a little about life on the set, even in such rare meetings with representatives of the media.
