Biography
Boris Ilyich Seidenberg was born in the beautiful city of Odessa in 1929. Here his childhood and youth passed, and then he flew away from his native nest. Just Boris from an early age knew that he would be an actor. And when my school years ended, I went to get an acting education at the Tashkent Theater and Art Institute. Ostrovsky. After graduating from the university, Seidenberg began a nomadic life: he worked in one theater, then in another. And then he realized that there was no place better than his native Odessa, and returned to his small homeland. Here he entered the service of the Ivanovo Russian Drama Theater and worked on his stage all his life.

It was the desire to grow in his profession that prompted him to try his hand as a theater director. Here he was also waiting for success: he became the director of twelve performances of various genres, which were successfully held on the stage of the theater. Critics noted that the young director is able to elaborate on the characters of the play’s characters and expressive techniques that reveal the deep psychological meaning of the production. Movie career
From the very debut, Boris Ilyich managed well the roles of the military or representatives of power structures. The first film, where he made his film debut, is called The Viper (1965). It was shot on the story of Alexei Tolstoy, and Seidenberg played here the red commander Emelyanov.
And his best role is considered the image of Captain Orlov in the military drama "Liberation" (1969). The actor played similar roles in the films “Battle for Berlin”, “The Great Confrontation” and others. “Liberation” is an epic film in which the actor starred along with the famous Nikolai Olyalin, Mikhail Ulyanov, Larisa Golubkina, Vladimirov Samoilov and other great actors.
