People's Artist of the RSFSR (1990) Tatyana Vladimirovna Bestaeva in the "sixties" was accepted by the domestic cinema community as the most beautiful actress. Interestingly, the directors of that period often attracted her to play the role of foreign women, because she possessed a huge stage charm and a burning comedic and dramatic temperament. According to the actress herself, on the streets of Moscow in Soviet times, she was often mistaken for Marina Vladi, which amused her very much.

The popular Soviet and Russian theater and film actress Tatyana Bestaeva in her creative career emphasized, primarily, theatrical activity. Her favorite phrase “I am engaged to the theater” refers to those curious who ask the question: “Why wear a wedding ring to a widow on her right hand ?!” The famous lyceum is really afraid of "slipping to the level of KVN" when the great traditions of the Russian theater are replaced by "antics" on the stage.
