Byron Mann was born on August 13, 1967 in Hong Kong. He was educated at an English school for boys. In school, Mann was an active participant in amateur theater - he played and wrote scripts. After graduating from school, Byron moved to California, where he entered the university. Mann has a degree in philosophy. Then Byron went to law school in southern California, but a year later returned to Hong Kong and began acting in films and television.
