Her first performance was when the baby was four years old. She performed the Moldavian song so soulfully that she touched the whole noble audience present. Since then, Aurika Rotaru could not imagine herself without music. She studied this skill throughout her life and achieved some success.

Childhood and youth
Aurika Rotaru was born on October 22, 1958 in the small Moldavian village of Marsintsy, which is affably located in Western Ukraine. Her parents worked on the land and were the most ordinary villagers. The family had six children - three sisters and three brothers. Aurika was the youngest child, but this did not mean that she was spoiled more than others.
Everyone in the family had their own responsibilities, which had to be done around the house. Some were responsible for cleaning, others for cattle, and others for cooking. Everyone was at work. They lived very modestly. And the times were such that one only had to dream of comfort. Aurika still recalls how she and the four sisters slept in the same bed. But in spite of everything, they lived quite amicably. In the family everyone spoke the Moldovan language. Auriki's mother did not even understand Russian. Children at school were still taught the Russian language, which greatly helped them in the future.
The girl’s father loved to sing, he naturally had a good strong voice. But because of the war, Mikhail Fedorovich still failed to realize his talent, so he dreamed that his children would go on a creative path. And indeed, everyone sang in the family - both boys and girls. Genes, apparently, made themselves felt. Have girls dreamed, like Chekhov's “Three Sisters, ” to break out of the outback to Moscow? Of course, dream! And if you really want, then there is nothing left for dreams but to come true.
First fee
As a baby, Aurika was already performing on stage with her sisters. They sang Moldavian songs that they knew from dad to the teeth. Aurika still recalls her first fee with a smile on her face. Its size amounted to a whole 1 ruble. At the age of about three to four years, she once performed in a village club and moved the audience so soulfully with a soulful song that people put on a hat in a circle, collecting the first honestly earned money for the baby.
Beginning of a creative career
After graduating from school, Aurika decided to enter a music school, while also graduating from a pedagogical institute. Then the singer joined the Chernivtsi Philharmonic and began to actively tour with her in Western Ukraine. Soon she left the ensemble, in her place came the elder brother Eugene. But the ensemble “Cheremosh” never achieved outstanding success, after some time the group broke up.
In the 90s, Aurika first joined the Vinnitsa, and then to the Crimean Philharmonic. Along the way, toured with her older sister in Russia. In the group of Sofia Rotaru Aurika was a backing vocalist. They often performed duets at holiday concerts and New Year's shows.

Auriki's track record has six albums. The latest release date is 2006.
Personal life
Her husband, Vladimir Pigach, a well-known businessman at that time, helped Aurike to work on albums. They met in 1986. Aurika fell in love with him without looking back. After a short romance, the couple decided to get married.
In the marriage, a daughter was born, whom the couple named Nastya. The year 2005 prepared a difficult test for Aurika. Husband Vladimir died of a massive stroke, they did not manage to save him. It happened at home in the bathroom. If rescuers were able to quickly break the door, then perhaps the tragedy would not have happened. But everything happened, as in slow motion. For a woman, this shock was a real blow. The husband was everything to her. Aurika every day went to his grave, brought flowers, talked.
Relatives supported her and did not allow her to fall into despair. Sophia regularly tried to visit her sister so that Aurika knew that she was not alone in the world. But the world did not stand still, it was necessary to move on. Aurika stopped sprinkling ash on her head, pulled herself together and continued to live a full-fledged creative life.
Rotaru Jr. now has two lovely granddaughters. They settled with their older sister Sofia in the same house to see each other more often. Both of them are already far beyond 60 years, but they are still young. And the point is not even in plastic surgery and miracle creams, but in relation to life.
Aurika says that the guarantee of her beauty and health is that she always treats everyone well. She seeks to help family, friends and people around her.
