Today, the maxim that children do not want and do not like to read has already become a commonplace. There are many explanations for this phenomenon. The most common argument is the dominance of television and the Internet. Yes, this is the case. At the same time, adults have at their disposal many ways and methods to instill in the child a love of the book. The children's writer and playwright Andrei Usachev is absolutely sure of this.

Poetic childhood
In literature, as in any other field of activity, there are luminaries and imitators. In commercial terms, competition for the reader is always sharp and uncompromising. Children's literature is no exception. Andrei Usachev was born on July 5, 1958 in an ordinary Soviet family. Parents lived in Moscow. Mother taught history at school, father worked as an installer at a construction site. The child grew up and was brought up in a healthy environment. He learned to read early and loved to sing pioneer songs that were broadcast on the radio.
When the time came, Andrei with great desire went to school. In his biography, he never forgets to note that he took an active part in amateur performances. When classmates created a vocal-instrumental ensemble, Usachev chose percussion instruments for himself. Especially for the ensemble wrote lyrics. Over time, timid creativity attempts transformed into sustainable habits and creativity. The boy knew very well how his peers live, what they dream about and what plans they are building for the future.
Having received a certificate of maturity, the famous children's writer in the future easily entered the metropolitan institute of electronic technology. Moreover, having studied four courses, Andrei finally realized that he had absolutely no love for electronics. He left the institute and went to serve in the army. During the drill lessons he finally understood what he wanted to do in life. After demobilization, already consciously, he transferred to Tver State University to the philological department and received a humanitarian education.
