Alice Strogaya: biography
The future soloist of the Mariinsky Theater was born on November 26, 1943, in the midst of World War II, in the city of Chelyabinsk, where her parents moved from occupied Leningrad. Her mother, A.S. Kozachkova, a native Petersburger, was having a hard time moving from her hometown, and after the war the family decided to return to Leningrad. In 1953, Strogaya entered the Leningrad Choreographic School. Vaganova. The famous ballerina Belikova Nina Viktorovna became her teacher. It was she who, in addition to choreographic education, instilled in the young student that passion and characteristic presentation of dance that in the future distinguished Alice Stroguy so favorably.
Alice Strict: career
In 1962, Alice joined the troupe of the Kirov Theater. Possessing a bright appearance and lively character, she quickly won the recognition of the public. In 1974, in the ballet production of the Estonian choreographer May-Esther Murdmaa “The Prodigal Son”, Strogaya became the leading performer of the Mother's Party. Her work was highly appreciated by the audience.

In 1980, based on the ballet "Shurale", the film-ballet "Forest Fairy Tale" was shot, in which Strict played the vivid and colorful role of the Fiery Witch. A fascinating story telling about the adventures of the characters of Tatar folklore has become interesting to both the adult audience and the children.
In 1983, Alisa Strogaya received the title of Honored Artist of the RSFSR.
Since 1988, she worked as a teacher of characteristic dance at the Vaganova Leningrad Choreographic School. In 1995, Alisa Strogaya became an assistant professor in the department of acting, and in 2005 she received the title of professor of the department of historical and characteristic dance.
In 2007, Alisa Strogaya completes her creative career and leaves Russia. Currently, the ballerina lives with her family in Norway, in the city of Bergen.
