Biography
Alexey Igorevich is a native Petersburger. True, he was born in Leningrad because his date of birth was December 18, 1947, and at that time his hometown was named after Lenin. There he graduated from high school, and then learned to be an actor in LGIK. He was noticed when he was still a student, so they immediately accepted into the troupe of the Youth Theater named after Bryantsev.
Later, in an interview, the actor said that it was the theater that helps to understand what is in life and who is who - there are people without falsehood and without a double bottom, otherwise there is no way to survive.
Sheinin moved from Leningrad to Moscow to begin work at the Yermolova Theater. This refuge of Melpomene became his home for life. Of course, he also performed in other theaters: in the theater of the Moscow Soviet, in St. Petersburg theaters. During his career as an actor, he played both Don Juan, and Salieri, and other roles in classical productions. He also has a lot of roles in performances based on plays by contemporary authors.
Movie career
Alex played his first film role at almost thirty years old, so much he was passionate about the theater. However, today in his portfolio there are already more than forty roles in films of various genres and in series.
True, there was one role in the TV series "Past and Thoughts" based on Herzen's novel, but it was too insignificant to be able to appreciate the talent of the actor. This work was followed by others - in the films “These Naughty Sons” (1976), “My Love in the Third Year” (1976), “Family History” (1977). Here, the roles of Sheinin were already more noticeable.
However, he did not quit the theater and did not intend to quit, so he did not act in films very often.
The best of his films are Criminal Quartet (1989) and the TV series Queen Margo (1996) and Nine Unknown (2006).
In addition to working in the theater and cinema, Alexey Igorevich manages to pass on his knowledge and skills to the young generation of actors - he teaches at GITIS and at Ulyanovsk State University.
