Alex was born on January 13, 1954 in Mytishchi in a railway family. When the boy was four years old, his parents broke up, and his mother began to play a leading role in raising a talented musician. It was she who took the gifted son to a music school. There he learned to master the piano and guitar.
The beginning of Alexei Glyzin’s creative career was dedicated to the Mytishchensky Palace of Culture, where he spent three years. And then there was Moscow and the capital's Institute of Culture, from where he went from the third year to military service. It was in a military unit in the Far East that his talent was appreciated. There Alex was able to create the musical group "Flight" and has already formed a name for himself.
At the end of his military service, Glyzin was a member of the VIA Gems and Good fellows, and then he himself was able to put together the Fidelity group. And in 1978, he moved to Alla Pugacheva in the popular “Rhythm” band, where he was noticed by Alexander Buynov with the group “Funny Guys”. Since that time, Alexei’s career began to develop rapidly.
By 1988, he had already become so popular that he decided on a solo career, leaving the Cheerful Guys team and setting up his own Hurray team. The artist’s creative victories include many titles and awards, and his discography is filled with a huge number of musical masterpieces, including “Winter Garden” (1990), “Ashes of Love” (1994), “This Is Not True” (1995), “Belated Express” (1999), Golden Collection 1987-2001 (2001), Soul Flies (2004), Legendary Songs (2004), and Wings of Love (2012).
