The character of Baba Nadi from the popular TV series “My Fair Nanny” performed by the People’s Artist of Russia since 2001, Alexandra Ivanovna Nazarova, has been loved by millions of viewers throughout the post-Soviet space. Despite her serious age, this small and very energetic woman has tremendous liveliness of mind, which her younger colleagues in the creative workshop can envy. It is interesting that the star role was originally conceived as episodic, and only because of the ingenious acting of the performer it was significantly expanded to the level that the viewers loved so much.

Currently, the filmography of the People’s Artist of the Russian Federation has more than eight dozen film works. She is familiar with the wide audience of Alexander Nazarov from the following films and series played at a fairly mature age: Princess on the Beans, Crew, Brigade, Night Watch, Cadets and Airport.
Biography and filmography of Alexandra Nazarova
On July 17, 1940, a future actress was born in the city on the Neva. The artistic family of Sasha (father Ivan Dmitrievich Nazarov and mother Alexandra Prokofievna Matveevna - theater actors) fully contributed to the choice of her future career. However, the ensuing war found the mother and daughter in Leningrad, and the father, who was on tour, in Vladivostok. Only thanks to this circumstance, the mother decided to break through the shrinking blockade ring and reunite with her husband on the Pacific Ocean. As it turned out later, the family was able to survive in full force precisely because of such a turn of fate, because all their friends died of hunger in that terrible period.
After returning to post-war Leningrad, life was filled with typical difficulties of that time, however, after receiving a certificate of secondary education, Alexander easily entered the LGITMiK for a course to the distinguished teacher Boris Zon. After graduation, she, almost the only one in the history of the institution, is distributed to Moscow. Here she begins her theatrical career on the stage of the Central Children's Theater, which was directed by Anatoly Efros before moving to Lenkom.
For three years she went on this stage, and with the departure of Efros, she herself after a while changed her creative house to the M.N. Ermolova Theater, where she has been working for half a century.
The debut in cinema with Alexandra Nazarova took place in 1961 from the filming of the film "And if it's love?" (the role of schoolgirl Nadia Bragin). And then there was the main role in Leo Arnstam’s film "Sofia Perovskaya" (1967), after which a long cinematic break came.
Today, the filmography of the People’s Artist of Russia has more than eighty roles played, among which I especially want to highlight the following film projects with her participation: "Princess on the Beans" (1997), "Border. Taiga novel" (2000), "The Brigade" (2002), "Night Watch "(2004), " My Fair Nanny "(2004-2008), " Gromovs "(2005), " Hold Me Tight "(2007), " A Short Course in a Happy Life "(2011), " Christmas Trees 1914 "(2014), "Take a hit, baby!" (2016), "Three Sisters" (2017), "Happiness! Health!" (2018).
