Ageev Roman Olegovich - an actor whose face is known to all domestic lovers of series. He is constantly invited to play the roles of colorful, brutal characters in crime dramas and romantic films. In 2018, he starred in the historical film Sobibor. But in addition to working in films, Ageev actively performs on the stage of the theater.
Actor Biography
Ageev Roman Olegovich was born in early 1974 in the town of Polyarnye Zori, located on the banks of the Niva River, near Murmansk. He was a very active and independent child, hooligan, skipped school, loved to get into adventures and troubles, for which he was more than once firmly “flew” from a strict father. Moreover, the actor himself recalls this time with fondness and is grateful to his parents for a rather harsh upbringing.
Roman's family was simple, working, and had nothing to do with creativity. But he fell ill with the dream of getting on the screen from early childhood. Just then, the first color televisions began to appear, and the boy was delighted with the work of actors who embodied the heroes of his favorite books in films.
After graduating from school, Ageev, in consultation with his parents, left for St. Petersburg to enter the Academy of Theater Arts. He succeeded, and he studied with the famous director and People's Artist Semyon Spivak.
Career
In Spivakov’s "theater on the Fontanka" and Roman went to work after graduation in 1999. Six years later, he left for the Bolshoi Drama, but to this day has been cooperating with Fontanka under a contract. At the theater, Roman Ageev has more than 15 roles in popular performances, many of which are still playing today.
On the set of cinema, Roman Ageev first tried his hand in 2000, starring in a small episode of the lyric drama "The Garden Was Full of the Moon." And a year later he embodied one of the heroes of the cult Bodrov Jr. in his only directorial work, the crime drama "Sisters". With this film came fame. Then there were several more works in the cinema, and since 2004 Ageev took a short break from filming and plunged headlong into theatrical work.
Since 2007, Roman Olegovich annually takes part in the filming of films and TV shows on Russian television. He played about 30 roles in films and more than forty - in television series, including such as "Deadly Force", "Gangster Petersburg", "Bailiffs" and others. In 2018, he played in the historical drama Sobibor.
