Biography
Alexey Zharkov was born in post-war Moscow in 1948. He was brought up in a large and rather poor family, but his parents tried to give the children all the best. The future actor visited an art studio, played musical instruments and, of course, was fond of theater. After graduating from school, he continued to receive education at the Moscow Art Theater School, and then got an actor in the Theater. Maria Ermolova, in whom he devoted more than 30 years.
Already in his teens, Alexei Zharkov was involved in the cinema. He played a small role in the film for young viewers "Hello, children!", As well as in the comedy "The summer has disappeared." In the 2000s, Alexei Zharkov starred in the famous multi-part films "Secrets of Palace Coups" and "Shtrafbat", the series "Border", "Deadly Force" and "Champion", as well as the film "Ward No. 6". In the last years of his life, he managed to take part in the filming of the sensational film of Andrei Zvyagintsev "Leviathan". During this period, the actor survived a stroke, and his health was very wry. Alexei Zharkov died in 2016 after a heart attack and was buried in the Pokrovsky (Selyatinsky) cemetery.
