Olga Vladimirovna was born on August 29, 1958. The family lived in Moscow, and was fairly well off. However, his father died when Olya was 2 years old.
A stepfather appeared in the family - a tyrannical person. Then Olya had a half-sister Tatyana, her mother had to work hard. She worked at a chemical plant, her stepfather was a watchman.
From an early age, Olga was interested in music. She studied at a music school, where she mastered the piano, performed at school events. After leaving school, Zarubina did not plan to be an artist, she studied at a medical school and received the profession of a nurse.
Creative career
In the years of study, Olga was part of the student ensemble. The team participated in competitions, performed at events. The vocalist was noticed by Alexander Zaborsky, the performer of the Russian chanson. He took the girl to his group "Postal Stagecoach."
In 1977, Zarubina met with Vyacheslav Dobrynin, a composer. He recommended the singer to the ensemble "Leysya, song" (director Mikhail Shufutinsky), where Olga became a backing vocalist.
In the same period, the singer appeared on the screens in the program “Sing, friends!”. She performed "Song of the Captain."

A successful career ended in 1991. In Cheboksary, Olga performed under the soundtrack due to illness. Colleagues say she didn’t do this before. Because of this, Zarubina moved with her family to the United States, where she worked as a translator.
In 2007, Olga Vladimirovna was invited to participate in the program "You are superstar!" (NTV). Then she continued to work in Russia. In 2012, her CD "Not by chance" appeared with hits from previous years and new compositions.
