Ivan Zamotaev is a diversified personality. He is a film and theater actor, musician and composer. The future actor, musician and composer was born on January 22, 1983. His birthplace is the city of Pervomaisk, located in the Nizhny Novgorod region. In his childhood, Ivan worked diligently in a music school, mastering the button accordion. Then he graduated from the music school in Arzamas. Ivan also knows how to play the piano. One of his youthful hobbies is table tennis.
Subsequently, Zamotaev continued his education at a more serious level. In 2004, he graduated from the famous Russian Institute of Theater Arts. He began his career at the Theater of Music and Drama, which was led by Stas Namin. In 2010, Ivan began collaborating with The Other Theater and with the Quartet I collective. For some time he built his career in the Theater of the Russian Army and in the Theater of Modern Entreprise.
Work on stage and in cinema
Zamotaev’s theater repertoire is quite wide. He was involved in the plays "The Snow Queen", "Hair", Three Musketeers ", " Soldier Ivan Chonkin ", " Four Stories, "At the Crossroads", "Bremen Town Musicians", "City of Mice", "Much Ado About Nothing, " "Comedy Club". Other productions with the participation of Ivan were also remembered by the audience. Among them: "Music for the Fat", "Chocolate on boiling water", "Valentine's Day."
As a film actor, Zamotaev tried himself in 2006, playing the role of a button accordion in the series "Who is the boss in the house?" This work was followed by participation in the projects "Once upon a time there was a woman", "Galina", "Packed", "Brothers in Exchange", "Village Romance".
Ivan not only works on stage and in the frame. He composes music for film projects and theater productions. His musical compositions can be heard, for example, in the series "Country Romance", "The Road Home", in the films "Grafomafia" and "That is what a woman does."

Zamotaev is the leader and artistic director of his own musical group, called "Zamotaev Band".
