Everyone in childhood and even at a more conscious age raises the question of why people in the desert prefer to wear tight, warm, closed clothes under the scorching sun. It would seem that open clothes should be more suitable for hot weather. However, everything is not so simple.
Desert Wisdom
Quite often you can see in the documentaries and feature films of the inhabitants of the desert, wrapped upside down in dense fabric. At the same time, outwardly, they are quite comfortable and not hot. Usually they also drink hot tea, which also does not correspond to our idea of correct and comfortable behavior in the heat.
The thing is that dense clothing retains life-giving moisture on the skin, preventing it from drying out, the body secreted by it will then be stored inside a dressing gown or other warm clothing, without going anywhere. Moreover, such clothing protects a person from heat stroke, not allowing the human body to come into contact with hot air. In fact, warm clothes in the heat acts as an additional thermoregulatory agent.
A tight robe and hat (for example, Uzbek) keep the pressure, pulse and temperature of its holder at the normal level. In fact, the only thing you need to do in this dressing gown is to drink enough fluid to make it enough for the body. Hot tea is preferable in this case, since it stimulates sweating, due to which the body cools.
