The temple is a sacred building that was built for worship and the implementation of religious rites, such as baptism, weddings. Some people do not understand: why are temples needed, because God is in their souls. Even Mikhail Zadornov said that he did not need any intermediaries to communicate with the Almighty. But mankind needs temples. Why?
Yes, of course, every believer can turn to God at any moment without resorting to the help of the temple and clergy. Nevertheless, the temple is the place where the sacraments are performed. For example, baptisms occur. If there were no temple, people would not be able to go through one of the seven Sacraments. Some people come to this sacred place to share their experiences, get advice. A person is cleansed, the soul becomes easy. What is the sacrament? This is the hand that has been extended to us with God's Gifts. By eating them, we give God the nature that he purifies, brings Divinity there. A person at a psychological level feels more comfortable, calm. A person is not required to visit the temple, he goes there when the "soul asks." This is a sacred place in which people seek peace, forgiveness, understanding. Having arrived there, a person can be sure that they will listen to him, extend a helping hand and never offend him. There you can hide from a cruel world - crime, violence, deception. Having come to the temple, a person can realize some of the commandments of the Most High. For example, one of them implies a ban on atheism. Man must honor God, study faith, and think about the wonders of creation. It is for this that there is a temple. That is, if this sacred place had not existed, people probably would not have been so religious, faith in God would have come to naught; man would become an atheist, accomplish forbidden and sinful deeds. To understand why a temple is needed, one can recall such a means of transportation as an airplane. After all, it is not the meaning of human life, but it can deliver us to the goal in a fairly short time. So is the temple: it is not the meaning, but it is with the help of it that we can learn the commandments of the Creator. Yes, of course, its presence does not improve life in itself, but it spiritually enriches it.
