Vetrov Gennady - a famous comedian, musician, satirist, "man-orchestra". He is the author of the scripts for many pop performances, books, poems. In 2009 he was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation.
Biography
Gennady Vetrov was born in 1958 in Makeevka (Donbass), in a simple family. His father is a miner, his mother is a trade worker. Gennady’s grandfather played the accordion, knew how to sing. While studying at school, the boy attended all kinds of circles. He studied music, theater, played chess, sang in the choir. He was not accepted into the dance club due to a lack of ability.
When Gene was 7 years old, he met friends with a cameraman, and together they shot the film "The Smokers Conspiracy." The boy was a screenwriter, director, played one of the roles.
Vetrov studied well, knew how to play the button accordion, made drawings for wall newspapers. After school, he entered the Art and Industrial Institute (Lviv), but unsuccessfully. In the years 1976-1981. Vetrov studied at the Civil Engineering Institute (Mayevka), created VIA "Orion". The group has successfully performed at various events.
In the army, Gennady proved himself as a creative person. He drew well, gave concerts. Philharmonic artists recommended that he seriously engage in acting. Vetrov entered the workshop of I. Shtokbat on the pop course, where Y. Galtsev studied. and S. Celine.
Career
In 1988-1994 Vetrov worked in the theater "Buff", tours also took place abroad. The troupe was played by Y. Galtsev and E. Vorobey. Vetrov played roles, was a director, co-writer of scripts. He directed the projects "White and Black", "Winnie-Gret", created 3 of his own programs "Mask Rad", "People, ay!", "Zucchini" Windmill ". In 1993-1994 he performed in Switzerland, Germany.
Since 1994, Gennady appeared on television in St. Petersburg, he led some programs. In 1999 Vetrov moved to the capital. After talking with Regina Dubovitskaya, I got into the Full House program. In addition to Galtsev, the artist collaborated with Igor Mamenko, this duet was remembered by many viewers.
Gennady Vetrov participated in the filming of several films (Golden Key, Streets of Broken Lights, Racket, etc.). He published humorous collections (Pro-Wind, Funny, Hooligan Notebooks). One of Vetrov’s important projects was the Windy People Theater he created in 2000, and his wife Karina worked in the troupe.
