Childhood
People of the older generation are well aware that childhood dreams and fantasies evaporate and crumble when confronted with real circumstances. Julia Valeeva from a young age dreamed of becoming a singer. This desire is not unusual; at an early age, children change their preferences often and without regrets. However, the girl had good reason to dream about a career on the stage. The fact is that Julia’s mother played the piano very well, which was in the house. The daily life of the family proceeded to the music of Vivaldi and other classics.
Valeeva was born on June 27, 1978 in the city of Sarapul, which is located in the Udmurt Republic. In total, parents raised five sons and three daughters. It is important to note that Julia did not feel flawed or deprived. Older children took care of her. In turn, she was engaged with younger children. When the age approached, the girl went to school. From the first grade, she received only excellent marks in all subjects. If there were any mistakes, then Julia immediately corrected the unpleasant situation.
Of all the objects, Valeeva most of all loved literature and singing lessons. Her early strong and clear voice erupted. The vocal abilities of the student were highly appreciated by the teachers of the vocal studio at the local Pioneer House. Julia not only sang here, but also studied in the Kalinka dance group. Amateur shows and contests were regularly held in the city. Very often, the work of the young performer was noted with diplomas and valuable gifts. In high school, Valeeva decided to get a teacher education and become a kindergarten teacher.
Festivals and competitions
After graduating from school in 1995, Julia moved to the famous city of Glazov and entered the preschool education department of the local pedagogical institute. In her student years, Valeeva not only attended lectures and took tests. She took an active part in the cultural life of the city. Together with their older sister, they organized the Hawk children's choreographic ensemble. After graduation, she studied dancing with children for several years. Then a deficit formed in the city budget, and the children's team had to be dissolved.
In order not to be left without a livelihood, a certified teacher had to interrupt casual earnings. Julia performed in restaurants and nightclubs. She was invited several times to perform chanson on the sites of Izhevsk. By then, Valeeva had already managed to take part in creative competitions at the regional level. In 2003, the Rossiya television channel launched a musical project called People's Artist. After some doubts and consultations with specialists, Julia decided to take part in this event.
The singer brilliantly passed the qualifying round of the contest, which took place in Perm. More than ten thousand applicants performed their compositions. The commission chose only a hundred, which included Julia. In Moscow, where preliminary auditions took place, out of a hundred people, only ten were selected. In the final, Valeeva performed the popular song "Souvenir", which did not impress the high jury. However, the audience liked the song and especially the singer’s voice. Responding to the proposal, the singer recorded with her group "Bravo" her debut composition called "Cities".

In 2005, Valeeva was among the participants of the popular festival "Slavic Bazaar", which is regularly held in Belarus. Despite the fact that the singer did not take the prize, television observers and critics warmly spoke about her. At the vocal contest "New Wave", held in Jurmola, the singer took sixth place. To stay closer to the venue of festivals and competitions, Julia moved to Moscow. Here she was accepted as a make-up artist on one of the television channels.
