Eduardo Yáñez Luevano was born in Mexico in the autumn of 1960. His childhood passed in Mexico City, where he lived with his brothers and mother. The boy had never seen his real father. First, the mother brought up the children, and then the stepfather, who was very strict towards them.
In an interview, the actor recalled that he and his brothers had a very difficult childhood. Until my mother got married a second time, they did not have enough money even for the most necessary. With the advent of the stepfather, life was a little better, but the boys did not have a relationship with him. Perhaps the man did not really like children, especially strangers, and at every opportunity he tore his anger at them, constantly punishing them for the slightest misconduct.
Eduardo has been fond of sports since childhood, especially football. He dreamed of joining the national team and becoming a real professional. But fate decreed otherwise.
Once a young man came to a rehearsal in a theater where his friend worked. He really liked the atmosphere that reigned on stage and in the team. A friend advised him to turn to the director in order to try to get at least an episodic role in the new play. First of all, Eduardo needed money, and in the theater it was possible to make good money, and the young man decided to seize the opportunity.
After auditioning, Yanyes was accepted into the troupe and began his journey to fame. Then he did not even dream of a career in theater or cinema. But gradually the young man was carried away by creativity. In the end, he decided to devote himself completely to the acting profession and went to audition at Grupo Televisa, Mexico's largest media company for the production of television films, series, entertainment and news programs.
Creative career
After qualifying for Televisa, Janes won first roles in popular soap operas. Ernesto Alonso, who directed the production of films, quickly discerned the creative potential in the young man and offered a small role in the project “Love Me Always”. A bright and charismatic actor immediately attracted the attention of the audience and quickly won their love.
Since 1981, the actor has starred in many famous series and films. Although most of the paintings with his participation were not shown in other countries, in Mexico he became a real star of soap operas.
In 1991, Yáñez decided to go to the USA to pursue an acting career. There he starred in several television projects, and then got roles in famous TV shows and films: Savannah, Striptease, Complete Cheating, Wildness, Doctor Quinn - a female doctor, Detective Rush, The Punisher, Anger, CSI: Crime Scene, Queen of the South, Naval Police: Los Angeles.
In 2005, Eduardo returned to his homeland and continued to work in Mexican television projects.
