The world chronometer dispassionately counts days, years and epochs. The writers who lived and worked in the Soviet era are getting fewer and fewer alive. Vladimir Sergeyevich Bushin is one of those who defend his native Socialist Fatherland with his creativity and actions.

Far start
According to the observations of historians and literary critics, in the Russian state until 1917, writers and poets "left", as a rule, from the nobility and the nascent bourgeoisie. After the Great October Socialist Revolution, the situation in society changed dramatically. The famous Soviet writer Vladimir Bushin was born on January 24, 1924. The family at that time lived in one of the villages of the Moscow province.
The future writer from an early age was brought up in traditional Russian rules. They didn’t shout at Volodya, they did not smack the reins. The boy was calmly and consistently accustomed to work in the courtyard, and then in the field. Peasant work is not hard, but monotonous and tiring. All day, from dawn to dusk, going to the field for plow is not easy. Bushin was not afraid of difficulties and always moved towards the problems and tasks arising on the horizon.
Vladimir Sergeyevich used a similar approach throughout his entire conscious life. At school, the boy studied well. His favorite subjects were Russian language and literature. Actively engaged in a literary circle. He participated in the primary Komsomol organization. He wrote poems and stories for the school wall newspaper. He received a certificate of maturity three days before the start of World War II.

Formation period
The biography of the writer briefly says that he was drafted into the army in the autumn of 1942. Behind these lines are the dramatic events of that time. Vladimir Bushin, at the time of the call, was not yet full 18 years old. The soldiers in the trenches were under tremendous nervous tension. And only after the battle of Stalingrad a persistent conviction in our victory appeared. The young poet in the most difficult and hopeless days wrote poetry full of optimism and self-confidence.
Poems by Vladimir Bushin were regularly published in the army newspaper, which was called "The rout of the enemy." Thus, the fighter combined literary creativity with the performance of combat missions. At the front, the young poet joined the Communist Party. The part in which Private Bushin served, after participating in the assault on Koenigsberg, was relocated to the Far East. The fighting in Manchuria was short and bloody.
In 1946, after demobilization, Bushin entered the famous Literary Institute. Along with him, many poets and writers who completed the front-line school were educated. It so happened that by a majority of votes Vladimir Sergeyevich was elected secretary of the Komsomol committee of the institute. The war veteran justified the trust of his comrades. He always tried to help his classmate when he had difficulties in his studies or personal life.
Professional activity
After graduating from the Literary Institute, in 1951, Bushin was hired by the weekly Literary Newspaper. The issue of a periodical is an interesting and fascinating affair. And in those times, and in subsequent periods, Literature raised the most acute topics that concerned every Soviet person. The newspaper was read without exaggeration by the whole country. It was during this period of time that Vladimir Bushin developed an interest in journalism.
This interest was fueled by the processes that took place in Soviet society. The false disclosures of Stalin’s “personality cult” pushed the journalist to a deeper and more comprehensive study of the country's recent history. Bushin not only writes articles analyzing topical issues, but also engages in literary work. From the pen of the writer came several books of prose and poetry collections.
In the early 60s, Bushin was invited to head the prose department in the magazine "Young Guard". A famous writer devotes a lot of time to communicating with authors who bring their works to the editor. It is very important to discern a person’s ability to write through a manuscript. This is not always possible to do. Vladimir Sergeevich helps novice writers with advice and a hint and a recommendation.
