Biography
Victoria Tolstoganova was born in 1972 in Moscow and was brought up in an intelligent Soviet family with three younger sisters. Unlike other girls in the family who are fond of playing musical instruments, Vika preferred to sing and especially loved to perform the songs of Alla Pugacheva. At school, at the beginning she began to attend the drama club, and after graduation she attended the Moscow Art Theater School, after which she set herself on fire to become an actress.
The girl persistently comprehended the basics of the desired profession, several times trying to go to GITIS. Finally, she succeeded, but Victoria decided not to stop there. She continued her studies at VGIK in the workshop of the famous Joseph Kheifits. All this made Tolstoganova an unusually experienced and talented artist in all aspects. As a student, she began work in the capital's Stanislavsky Theater, where she performed until the mid-2000s.
In the mid-1990s, Victoria Tolstoganova first appeared in films, but her first roles were insignificant. The first success came in 2000, when the actress participated in the filming of the action movie "Antikiller". It was followed by the series "The Moscow Saga", "At anonymous height", "Escape" and others. And yet, the actress for a long time remained little known. Her finest hour came in 2010: she played the role of Maroussi in the continuation of the famous film by Nikita Mikhalkov, titled Burnt by the Sun 2: A Look. A year later, Victoria repeated success in the next part of the tape, called the "Citadel".
In the future, Victoria Tolstoganova starred mainly in interesting copyright projects. These include the films "Spy", "Champions: Faster. Higher. Stronger", the series "Hugging the Sky" and "The Executioner". One of the recent successes was shooting in a sports drama based on the real events “Upward Movement”, where Tolstoganova played the role of the wife of the coach of the Soviet basketball team Vladimir Garanzhin.
