Valery Fedorovich was interested in music from early childhood. She constantly sounded in the house. He especially liked folk songs. However, he managed to find his direction far from immediately. The first experience with a musical instrument left a negative impression.
The beginning of the way
The biography of the future celebrity began on November 16 in the Kurgan region. The child was born in 1961 in the family of a trucker in a small town.
From childhood, the boy was distinguished by independence. Fascinated by music, Valery enrolled in a brass band. He was attracted by the variety of musical instruments. However, it turned out to be difficult to cope with the huge “pipe” entrusted to him.
Mom wanted her son to learn to play the button accordion. Therefore, I decided to verify the success of the child. Seeing unsuccessful attempts to extract sounds from a huge pipe, the parent began decisive action.
She took her son to a music school. Classes have been going on for a couple of months, but my mother insisted on listening to the applicant. The student was assigned to the button accordion class. Mikhail Pavlovich Shulgin became the teacher of the boy. During the training, Valery independently learned to play the guitar.
With 12 years began a professional career. A 12-year-old accordion player played on the Christmas trees, took part in concerts while relaxing in a summer camp. The boy, brave enough, decided to sing to the accompaniment of his instrument.
Singing career
On his own, he prepared a concert program for the entire camp. It included his solo performance as a singer with the song "We want to tell you honestly."
Number accepted enthusiastically. The teenager realized that he would connect life with performing art as a vocalist. But in addition to music, Vlasov was fond of exact sciences. At school, he repeatedly won in mathematical olympiads.
The graduate decided to receive his further education at the Polytechnic Institute of Chelyabinsk. In 1980, he became a student at the Faculty of Civil Engineering. The young man did not stop playing music even while studying.
A talented guy was accepted into the local ensemble. According to Vlasov himself, at the audition, he realized with amazement that he was completely unable to play. But he was convinced that working in VIA DKZhD would be gifted with people. He met while working with successful musicians. Their example showed that skill must be constantly honed.
Valery led the student ensemble and began playing in the Variant group. With the filing of drummer Oleg Polovinchik, the young man began to play in restaurants. They performed not only in Chelyabinsk, but also traveled to Moscow and Sochi. The experience gained was very valuable in further practice.
Songwriting
In the late eighties, Valery began to collaborate with arranger Vladimir Batrakov. They recorded the songs "Father's House", "Serge Yesenin" and "Bad Weather". In 1989, Vlasov in Chelyabinsk founded his own recording studio. In it, he recorded new compositions.
Valery performed at the festival "Formant" the song he wrote "Light of a distant star." In 1991, he made his debut on Mayak Radio and Central Television. After the premiere, the singer appeared a lot of fans. In 1993, the singer's first solo album was released. The Purple Dream was one of the first in the country in CD format.
A video was recorded by Vlasov on Shaganov’s song “Sing, South Wind”. He firmly established himself on the central television channels, was shown in the 50x50 program and rotated on NTV.
In 1997, Valery began working with a team of Ural harmonists. The team leader has previously worked with many domestic stars. The result of the collaboration was the Folk Music Center.
Leading domestic companies specializing in record recording have become interested in the new organization. With their participation, the publication of discs with folk music began. In his work, Valery emphasizes the importance of cooperation with arranger Alexander Samoilov. Among the songs recorded together, the composer and performer especially emphasizes "My Good."
Valery Vlasov is currently writing compositions himself. He is sure that without the unity of music, words and performance, the success of a song is impossible. Therefore, the singer is always sensitive to poetry. He never includes meaningless creations in his repertoire.
