Childhood, youth

Childhood Valery Soloviev was difficult, but happy. He studied well at school, spent a lot of time with friends. In his youth, he dreamed of a career as an artist. At first, the family did not support this desire. They wanted Valery to get a more reliable profession. But over time, they had to come to terms with the choice of a son.
In 1984, Soloviev graduated from the Leningrad State Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography. His teachers were famous theater artists. Solovyov’s studies were very simple and interesting. After graduation, he had to look for himself for several years to decide what to do. In his native city, there was no specialty, so the actor had to move to Leningrad.
Career
Valery Solovyov’s career began with performances on the stage. In 1987 he joined the troupe of the Leninsky Komsomol Theater (currently the Baltic House Theater). The loudest and most memorable were his roles in the performances:
- "Dowry" (A. Ostrovsky) - Pirates;
- "The Life of Ilya Ilyich" (A. Goncharov) - Stolz;
- "Eugene Onegin" (A. Pushkin) - Onegin;
- "The Master and Margarita" (M. Bulgakov) - Judas.
At that time, Solovyov had his fans who came to the theater to watch the game of his beloved actor. But Valery dreamed of working in the cinema.
In the movie, Solovyov began acting only in 1991. The first film was My Best Friend. In it, he played the general. The role was very successful. After a long break in 1998, he starred in the movie "Rosabella and Troll." In 2002, he took part in the creation of the series "Time to Love." Solovyov was often invited to star in multi-part films. In them he played diverse roles, but almost all of his heroes were honest, principled. These qualities are inherent in the actor himself. The audience remembered his roles in the series:
- "Secrets of the investigation-6" (2006);
- Blind: The Weapon of Retribution (2008);
- "Peter the First. Testament" (2011);
- "Alien Face" (2017).
In between filming, Valery Solovyov worked as an actor for dubbing and dubbing. Valery himself believes that it was in this area that he succeeded. This work does not bring glory, since the actor remains behind the scenes, but makes you experience great moral satisfaction. As a child, he loved to watch movies and dreamed that it was possible to receive money for this. Surprisingly, such a strange childhood dream has almost come true.
Valery Soloviev at the dawn of his career voiced CC - the hero of "Santa Barbara." In difficult times, almost no films were made in Russia, but many foreign TV shows were shown on television. Sounding became the second profession of Valery Solovyov. One of the most striking works was the dubbing of the voice of the protagonist of the film "Pretty Woman".
Voice actor - the work is very complicated. It is necessary to convey the character of the hero and his mood only through voice, not using emotions and other ways of expressing feelings. At the same time, it is important not to spoil, add or reduce. Valery shares the secrets of dubbing and admits that the highest skill is considered when the voice-overs sound nice, but neutral. It should captivate the viewer so that no one thinks about why the foreign hero speaks Russian. Valery Solovyov is called the dubbing legend. His voice is spoken by heroes from different parts of the animated film "Three Heroes". He voiced Dobrynya Nikitich and Ilya Muromets, as well as the characters in the animated films Smeshariki and Avatar.
One of the brightest episodes in his career was the voice of James Bond. Valery recalls this work with great warmth. First, he dubbed actor Pierce Brosnan in the part "Die, but not now." Then Pierce Brosnan was fired and in the series "Casino. Piano" starred Daniel Craig. The producers for a long time searched for an understudy for scoring a new actor, but could not approve anyone. American colleagues, having heard Solovyov’s voice, said that he was perfect. They were not even embarrassed that Valery voiced Bond, played by Brosnan. So the heroes of the film changed, but the voice remained the same.
In 2006, Soloviev was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation.
