Vadim Egorov, a teacher by education, a psychologist by profession and a poet by vocation, for many years managed to combine scientific work and literary work. Strange as it may seem, music helped to make a choice in favor of the favorite thing to the candidate of psychological sciences and a member of the Writers' Union. These were unpretentious melodies that sounded in the depths of his soul.

Vadim Vladimirovich Egorov today is a recognized classic of the author’s song genre. The holder of the Bard Russia gold medal was awarded the National Public Award “Gratitude” for his outstanding contribution to the gold fund of the author’s song. Egorov has repeatedly led the jury of Russia's largest festival of songwriters named after Valery Grushin, is the godfather of the KSP "Singing Spring" and the festival "Young Winds". One of his famous songs "Clouds" gave the name to the Voronezh association of bards. And it all started a little more than half a century ago. In the 70s, young Vadka Egorov least of all saw his poetic future as an author of songs.
With literature and music - from childhood
A child of the post-war period, Vadim Egorov was born on May 7, 1947 in a military garrison stationed in the city of Eberswald (GDR). Since 1949, the Egorov family began to live in Moscow.
Parents worked as school teachers. My father taught Russian language and literature. Vladimir Alekseevich Egorov loved and knew poetry, he wrote poetry himself. There were a lot of books in the house, and Vadim read a lot. The boy grew up surrounded by the incredible love of his mother, Rebekah Iosifovna Gurevich. She insisted that her son receive a musical education. The boy was reluctant in the violin class, but he liked to play the piano.
At the age of 11, Vadim heard on the radio the song of Ada Yakusheva “Blue Snowdrifts”. This became a motivation for a very young boy to express his thoughts on paper and create. In an interview with Tatyana Vizbor, Yegorov once admitted: “In words, “ listen, forget for a while, ”I died. Vadim wrote the first poems at age 14, the first song - at 16.
"Song Pack" MGPI
The choice in favor of the Faculty of Philology of the Moscow Pedagogical Institute was not made because the teachers were Vadim's parents. The young man dreamed of success in the literary field. But to enter the Literary Institute, without experience and serious publications, was impossible. And in the arsenal of the novice poet there were only the first teenage epigone verses published in the journal Smena. It also provided an opportunity to receive a humanitarian education, to improve under the guidance of a talented profession. And most importantly, he began to engage in a powerful literary association, together with future poets T. Kuzovleva, V. Delone, A. Yudakhin.
The university, in which the beginning poet Vadim Egorov entered in 1964, was called the Moscow Singing Institute in those days. From the walls of the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute a whole galaxy of bards of the first generation came out, among which were Yu. Vizbor, Yu. Kim, B. Vakhnyuk, A. Yakusheva, V. Dolina. They passed the baton of song traditions to the following students, gathering them in a "song pack" led by the "leader Bulat" (as one of Yegorov’s songs says). Vadim performed at institute concerts of amateur performances, published verses in the large edition "Leninets". Finding a place in the student folklore of the capital, by the fifth year, he became the recognized poetry leader of the institute.
From 1964 to 1969 the first songs were written that others sang - "Traces", "Lanka", "Friends are leaving, " "Pierrot." On Pirogovka there was a poetic and song formation of the author. A kind of springboard was released in 1970 in the magazine "Horizon" flexible record with the song "I love you, my rains", which was performed by S. Nikitin. Egorov for a long time hesitated to sing himself, giving his creations to other performers. At the institute, it was the duet of T. Komissarova and L. Freiter, which was popular at that time. His songs have been performed and still include many bards and KSP-schnicks in their repertoire.
Yegorov conducted his first stage performances to the accompaniment of a piano, and at the age of 30 he mastered a six-string guitar. Vadim has 4 guitars, one of them is the author’s, handmade by master Perfiliev. But most of all he loves his first six-string, which he managed to outbid for two and a half engineering salaries. "Typically, the instrument exudes the smell of wood and varnish, and this guitar smells of my life!" - sighs Egorov.
How much wife and children mean
Being a 3rd year student at the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute, desperately in love with Tanechka Petrovskaya, the first beauty of the region and the muse of institute poets and artists, Vadim got married at 19. The weather that came into being - a daughter and a son - became the characters of his popular songs ("Daughter's Monologue", "Children's Ballooning", etc.). Everything was traditional in the family, as it was supposed to in Soviet times: mother raised children, father earned money.
Vadim Vladimirovich worked at the Research Institute of Defectology of the USSR Academy of Pedagogical Sciences. He performed with concerts on weekends and evenings. Being engaged in scientific activity, Egorov received the title of candidate of psychological sciences, but refused to write a doctoral dissertation. The choice was made in favor of poetry and music. Since 1996, Egorov became a "free artist", devoting himself only to literary and concert activities.
While my father traveled with performances around the country and abroad, the “two chicks” that flew out of the parent nest flew out.

Romantic lyrics on stage and in life
In an interview with the press on the question of what he loves most, Vadim Vladimirovich jokingly replies: "Milk, honey and women - of course, in the person of his wife." For many years, the poet psychologist had the only person in his “relevant group”, his wife. Tatyana was the main critic of the poetic lines written by him and the first listener of the created songs.
The current muse of the poet is the laureate of the Grushinsky festival Vest Solyanin, whose meeting took place at one of the concert halls of the AP.
