We can say that his parents are representatives of the intelligentsia. They devoted their whole life to teaching. Arkady's father was a mathematics teacher, and his mother was a literature teacher.
This is probably why Arkady was very obedient and kind from childhood. The love of music began to manifest itself in early childhood. And parents gave the young talent to a music school, where little Arkasha began to master the violin. At a more conscious age, the guy independently learned to play the bass.
At age 18, the young man leaves for Moscow for higher education. There he became a student at the Bauman Technical School (now - MSTU named after Bauman), which he successfully completed after 6 years.
Career
Despite the fact that the specialty mastered at the university did not favor creativity, the young man did not doubt for a second that he would become a famous singer.
During his student days, he was a member of several musical groups at once, among the leaders of which were the famous Yuri Antonov and Leonid Utesov. Acquaintance with the stars of the Soviet stage and frequent performances made Arkady Ukupnik quite popular by the end of his studies at the university.
In the early 80s, Ukupnik created his own music studio "Gala", where he worked as a sound engineer and director at the same time. Subsequently, he was noticed by Alla Pugacheva and offered cooperation, which resulted in several years of fruitful activity.
For a long time Arkady writes songs for other artists, including Irina Ponarovskaya, Kristina Orbakaite, Mikhail Krug, Alyona Apina, Vladimir Presnyakov, Vlad Stashevsky, Larisa Dolina and many, many others.
However, with the advent of the 90s, he decides to begin his solo career. In 1993, he completed work on his debut album and released it under the title "East - a delicate matter, Petruha." Thanks to this record, the career of a musician with experience rushed up.
The artist’s discography includes 9 studio albums, the last of which was released in 2006. After the release of the last album, Arkady Semenovich decides to start writing music not for himself again. He began to create music for movies. The musician’s creativity can be appreciated in such films as “Bastards”, “Black Lightning”, “Love-Carrot” (all 3 films), “Indigo”, “Kiss Through the Wall” and many others.
