Clutching a machine gun, a supporter of the movement of Chechen separatists Timur Mutsuraev composed songs. In them, he praised his religion - Islam, praised his native land, calling for a struggle for "freedom." Mutsuraev’s work attracted the attention of law enforcement agencies, who saw extremist motives in many of his songs. Therefore, some songs of Timur were banned in Russia.

From the biography of T. Mutsuraev
The songwriter and performer was born in Grozny on June 25, 1976. Timur studied at secondary school No. 30. As a child, he fell in love with sports. Most of all he liked martial arts. In 1991, Mutsuraev received the title of champion of his republic in karate. Timur's family had a strong religious upbringing.
The fighting spirit of the Chechen youth demanded active, decisive action. Since 1994, Timur actively fought during the first Chechen conflict on the side of Ichkeria, and was part of the troops of the central front. After the assault on Grozny, R. Gelayev joined the detachment. In the battle at the village of Serzhen-Yurt, Mutsuraev was seriously wounded and was even considered dead at one time.
Active hostilities in his native republic came to naught in the 2000th year. Then Mutsuraev departed from Chechnya. According to some reports, he left for Baku and lived there until 2008. Other sources say that Timur Khamzatovich chose Turkey as his place of residence. At that time, Mutsuruyev visited Ukraine several times.
