Family, early years
Tamara Mikhailovna was born on January 18, 1962. Her family lived in Tbilisi (Georgia). Tamara's father is a descendant of a noble Georgian family, by profession he was a cybernetic. Mother, Jewish, worked as a teacher. A boy Paul also appeared in the family.
Children began to get involved in music early on, their mother supported their hobby. At 7, Tamara began her studies at the school at the conservatory. It turned out that the girl has absolute pitch.

In 1991, Legrand Michel, a French composer, got a cassette with recordings of Gverdtsiteli's songs. He invited the singer to Paris, where she sang at Olympia. Legrand invited Tamara Mikhailovna to cooperate by signing a contract for 2 years, but because of family circumstances, she refused. Later, the singer began to visit France quite often. She gave concerts in other cities of Europe.
Soon the war began in Georgia, Gverdtsiteli took the family to Moscow. In the 90s, the singer had many concerts abroad. For several years she lived in America with her son and mother.
In the late 90s, Tamara Mikhailovna returned to Moscow. She continued to perform, released several albums. Gverdtsiteli often invited to TV shows, she participated in the show "Two Stars", speaking with Dyuzhev Dmitry. They won by performing the song "Argo".
Tamara Mikhailovna was a participant in the Phantom of the Opera show, and was a member of the Voice of the Country jury. Also, the singer was a guest of the program "Alone with everyone."
