“A Thousand and One Nights” is a 2006 Turkish television series, the entire series has not yet been completed: it consists of 90 episodes, now viewers have the opportunity to watch 86 episodes.
The beginning of the story of a strong woman
Scheherazade, the main character of the television series with the name of a famous Arab storyteller, was faced with a tragedy - her husband died in a car accident and she was left alone with her little son Kaan..
The parents of the deceased husband did not accept Scheherazade into their family, and even they and her husband lived separately from each other, because the parents did not bless their marriage.
Having lost all support, Scheherazade seeks work and gets a job in a construction company as an architect. Her boss is Onur, a very serious and strict person who from the very beginning is skeptical of Scheherazade and her work. Scheherazade achieves extraordinary success - with its help, Onura company wins a grant for the construction of a building in Dubai. There is no limit to the happiness of Scheherazade: Onur begins to relate to her in a different way, and she can allow herself to leave earlier from work, so as not to leave her son alone for a long time.
She did not inform the boss about the existence of her son, because it was the child who was the main reason that she was not taken to any of the previous vacancies. This concealed information played a cruel joke with her - the doctor tells her that her son is ill with cancer and the operation costs 200 thousand dollars. Scheherazade has no such money.
A woman decides to seek the help of the father of her deceased husband - he is a very rich man and can afford that kind of money. But he expels Scheherazade and reports that he is not going to take the boy for his grandson.
Scheherazade in panic, the only option is to ask Onur for a loan. She asks for advice from her friend Benna, who is trying to dissuade her friend from such an undertaking, because Onur is a very cruel person and may even dismiss Scheherazade for insolence. He carefully listened to her request and said that no one could lend such money, especially on behalf of the company. But then an interesting idea comes into his head. He had long noticed that he was attracted to something by a self-confident and talented Scheherazade, and he decided to test it for “venality”. He says that he can give her money, but with one condition: Scheherazade will spend the night with him. The heroine is stunned by the rudeness and impudence of the boss, and runs out of the office, but a minute later she cools down and realizes that she has no other choice: she agrees to the offer.
One night
The next night, Onur and Scheherazade spend together. Onur gives her the money, and the heroine pays for the treatment of Kaan and finds happiness and ease. Onur, on the other hand, is becoming more and more convinced of the venality, meagerness and baseness of women in the person of Scheherazade, he begins to find fault with every little thing in her work, and punishes for every delay. Scheherazade feels very awkward, but still decides to work for the company further, because she must somehow give Onur the money for the operation. He understands that he himself is becoming more and more accustomed to Scheherazade and falling in love with him; he is even ready to forgive her for how she received an impressive amount of money from him. And something woke up in Scheherazade's soul when she thought about Onur.
