The real name of the singer, acting under the pseudonym Vitas, is Vitaly Vladasovich Grachev. He was born on February 19, 1979 in the city of Daugavpils, which is currently located in the state of Latvia. However, soon his whole family moved to a permanent place of residence in the Ukrainian city of Odessa, so today Vitas himself is a citizen of Ukraine from the point of view of the formal situation in the eyes of the migration services.
Musical education and activities of Vitas are very diverse. So, behind his shoulders there is a three-year training at the music school in the accordion class, as well as work in the theater of plasticity and voice parody. After graduating from the 9th grade of a secondary school, Vitas moved to Moscow, where in 2000 he began a solo career. The first work with which Vitas appeared in public was Opera No. 2, which allowed the audience to demonstrate the unique features of the timbre of his voice.
Specialists classify Vitas's voice as falsetto, that is, consider him one of the highest male voices.
