Silva Anderson is a well-known fighter of Brazilian origin, performing in a mixed style. From 2006 to 2013, he held the UFC championship belt in middle weight. Fans gave him the nickname "Spider" for his high tenacity.

Anderson da Silva was born on April 14, 1975 in Sao Paulo. Immediately after its birth, the family moved to Curitiba, in the very south of Brazil. There he grew up and joined the martial arts.
