Shaken Aimanov is a well-known Kazakh director and actor of tetra and cinema. The role of Dzhambul in the movie of the same name brought fame to the People's Artist of the USSR and the head of the Kazakhfilm studio. The winner of several state prizes was awarded the Orders of Lenin, the Red Banner of Labor, the Badge of Honor, medals "For Labor Valor", "For Valiant Labor in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945."

The life of Shaken Kenzhetayevich Aimanov was short-lived, but very bright. An outstanding cultural figure, master of Kazakh art, a wonderful creator is not forgotten. He made a considerable contribution to the development of spiritual life. The name of a person of multifaceted talent is forever inscribed in the history of the republic.
Way to destination
He was born near Lake Toraigyr, in Bayan Aul in 1914. The biography of the famous director began on February 2 (15) in the family of a peasant. All relatives were fond of creativity. Father was a talented performer and musician. He did not part with the dombra. Shaken inherited from his parent a love of music and folk songs.
The boy even went to bed, not forgetting about the instrument. His first song, performed independently, was "O my homeland." In 1928, the community school was completed. From 1931 to 1931, the graduate was educated at the Pedagogical Institute of Semipalatinsk. Shaken's free time was spent on amateur performances.
He played the mandolin, dombra, participated in the productions of the drama club. The plays in it were staged mainly from aul life. Among them were Arkelyk Batyr, Baibin Tokel, Zaure. In Semipalatinsk there was an acquaintance with professional artists of the drama theater of the republic.
The first performance with their participation was the production of "Karagoz". In 1993, when Shaken was in his third year, TRAM, the theater of working youth, came on tour. Aimanov actors involved in performances. In the production of Zarlyk, he reincarnated as the old man Safar. The game of a talented young man was noted by the famous writer Gabit Musrepov. He invited Shaken to work in the theater of Almaty.

At the celebration of the four hundredth anniversary of the great playwright in England from the stage, Shaken Kenzhetaevich read the hero's monologue in Kazakh. A talented artist worked with famous theater suppliers Borov, Goldblag, Markova. Since 1945, Shaken himself also became a director. He put on a dozen performances. Among them are "Voice of America", "Viburnum grove."
Filmmaking
Since 1940, Shaken began his work in the cinema. The roles he played were initially small. He was Sarsen in “Raikhan”, front-line soldiers from “White Rose”, became Sharip for “Songs of Abai”, a vicious, power-hungry and vengeful man, Dosanov, in the “Golden Horn”. The most notable work was the character of Sharip and Dzhambul in 1954. However, as before, the main activity remained theatrical.
For decades, from a budding actor, Shaken became the director and leader of the team. Since 1953, the brilliant career of a theater artist was terminated. Shaken Kenzhetaevich completely switched to cinema, inspired by the scale of the new art form. Aimanov put the first Kazakh paintings, created films that became landmark in the development of cinema of the republic.
He directed the tragic “Poem of Love”, the dramatic “Daughter of the Steppes”, the film “We Live Here”, the novel “The Land of the Fathers”, “The Angel in the skullcap” and “In the same area”, the tragicomedy project “Aldar-braid”. All-Union fame came along with the picture "Our dear doctor." For the first time, Aimanov used the cameo element.
From life, he took the script "Angel in the skullcap." The idea came from a relative, Ainakul-apa, who was actively looking for a bride for her youngest son. One of the most striking was the complex role of Dzhambul. At the beginning of the picture, this is a young man in love. As he grows up, the hero turns into a mature man, and the picture ends with frames with a wise old man.
Even then, Shaken Kenzhetaevich received the honorary title of Honored Artist of the Republic. In early 1959 he became People's Artist of the USSR.
