Biography
The future actor was born in December 1965 on the fifteenth in the small Russian city of Vorkuta. From an early age, the boy developed acting talents, he easily learned large texts and without any hesitation spoke on the school stage. But despite this, Sergei did not seek to connect his life with theater and cinema. Like most Soviet boys, he was a bully and did not really think about his future.
But over time, Murzin began to think about his future and decided to enter the Academy of Theater Arts in the city of St. Petersburg. He graduated in 1995, when he was thirty years old. After studying, he joined the children's philharmonic, but did not stay there for a long time. Six months later, he went to work in the St. Petersburg theater "Buff".
Movie career
Sergei Murzin received his debut role on the TV screen in 1990 while studying at the academy. His first work was an episodic appearance in the film "The Body". Later there were a few short works in little-known projects. His first truly recognizable role was the inveterate bandit and the scumbag nicknamed Krugly from the cult action movie Balabanov's "Brother". Three years later, he was invited to the television series produced by Channel One, "Deadly Force." An ambitious project based on the works of Andrei Kivinov brought novice actor national recognition and popularity. From that moment, Murzin began to be invited to various projects with an enviable frequency.

Very memorable images from “Brother” and “Deadly Force” made Murzin a cold-blooded killer, bodyguard, “brother from the nineties” and just a very influential person in one bottle. Simply put, Andrew became a hostage to his successful image, filmmakers and producers did not want to see him in a different role and often invited him to play the roles of asocial and criminal characters.
The actor himself did not particularly pay attention to this, because he still had a theater where he could transform into anyone. In addition, his on-screen "scum" twice brought Murzin "Taffy" award.

To date, the famous actor has more than sixty screen works. The last of them dates back to the year 2016 - then he appeared in one of the episodes of the popular sitcom "Univer" as a military commissar. The long absence on the screen is explained by the fact that Murzin completely went to work in the theater.
