Biography
Sergey Viktorovich Larin was born in 1982 in the city of Voskresensk, Moscow Region. In childhood, the boy did not suspect that he would once become an actor. He studied at an ordinary school in his city, and after graduation he entered the branch of the Kolomna Institute of Moscow State Educational Institution, which was located in Voskresensk - Larin planned to get an education as an economist-manager. After a couple of years, Sergey realized that this is not what he would like to do in life.
The future actor decided to go to the conquest of the capital, and already there he enrolled in acting courses, where he spent six months. It was not so hot any preparation, but she gave Larin the understanding that he wants to do acting.
The next stage, which brought the actor closer to the scene, was the workshop of Andrei Panin, who at that time was already a celebrity and received the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation. First, future stage pros studied at Moscow State University, then moved to VGIK. It was already a completely different preparation: serious and professional.
Careers in film and theater
Larin began acting in films when he was still a university student: he starred with Andrei Panin in the film "Full speed ahead!" (2004), then he also had the role of Yuri Pobedonostsev in the film Korolev in 2007 in the film "The Cosmonaut's Grandson" (2007).
Sergey handed over his thesis works in the theater: he played the role of Sganarelle in the production of "Sganarelle in the Land of Soviets", the role of Elizabeth Bam in the play "Elizabeth Bam" by Harms, and also the role of Bernard in the production of "Erotic Perversions in Chicago" by Mamet.
Larin graduated from the Institute in 2006, and immediately began to collaborate with the Moscow Polish Theater, which was led by Evgeny Viktorovich Lavrenchuk. A little later, he began working at the International Theater Center at the Roman Viktyuk Theater.
Since then, fate has thrown him from the theater to the cinema and vice versa, and did not want to refuse anything. The theater is a direct and not always easy contact with the audience, it is a good excitement before the performance and adrenaline after it. And also a great opportunity to convey to the audience what you feel yourself.
And cinema is the ability to work in front of the camera, to collaborate with a partner, even if you do not see the audience’s eyes and do not feel a backlash. This is probably an even greater test for the actor, but this movie is interesting.
