Childhood and youth
Sergey Vitalievich Bezrukov was born on October 18, 1973 in Moscow. Father, Vitaly Sergeyevich Bezrukov - a talented actor and director, worked in the Moscow theater of Satire. Mother, Natalia Mikhailovna Bezrukova, worked as a store manager, now she is a housewife.
The future artist was named after Sergei in honor of the poet Sergei Yesenin, who was very fond of the actor’s father. Sergey studied at Moscow secondary school No. 402, since childhood, showing interest in the scene. The boy loved to play in school plays, often came to work with his father in the Satire Theater. In the tenth grade, Sergey learned to play the guitar and the basics of painting.
After graduating from school, in 1990 the young man entered the Moscow Art Theater School. He was accepted to the course of Oleg Pavlovich Tabakov. In 1994, after graduating from the acting department with honors, Sergey received the specialty "Drama Theater and Cinema Actor". Then he was enrolled in the troupe of the Moscow Theater Studio under the direction of Oleg Pavlovich Tabakov.
Theatrical career
Even before the end of the Moscow Art Theater, Bezrukov was already invited to participate in performances of various theaters. Later, he began working at the Snuffbox Theater. In it, the artist played a large number of roles in such productions as: The Inspector General, The Marriage of Figaro, Sailor Silence, Anecdote, For Every Wise Man Enough Simplicity, The Last, My Life, or You Had a Dream to me?". Thanks to their ingenious game in the play “The Marriage of Figaro, ” the audience began to compare Bezrukov with Andrei Mironov. This performance was considered a worthy alternative to the classical production of V. Khramov. For talented performance of theatrical roles Sergey was awarded numerous prizes.
Work on television
In the period from 1994 to 1999, in parallel with the game in the Snuffbox, Bezrukov worked on television. It was a satirical broadcast of "Dolls" on NTV channel, dedicated to topical political issues in Russia. True, the audience heard only the voice of the actor. Sergey has one more talent - an excellent parodist. Bezrukov voiced 12 animated political characters, including: Mikhail Gorbachev, Boris Yeltsin, Grigory Yavlinsky, Gennady Zyuganov, Anatoly Kulikov, Vladimir Zhirinovsky and others. The latter was a favorite character of the artist.
In 1999, despite the high ratings of the program, the actor leaves the project, explaining that he "grew out of dolls."
Movie career
In 1994, Sergey Bezrukov made his debut in the film "Nocturne for a ram and a motorcycle." This was his first major role. By the end of 1999, the young actor was already very popular in the theater, but there were few successful roles in the movie. From the early films and series with his participation, the paintings "Chinese Service", "Crusader - 2" and the series "Azazel" became noticeable.
The "star hour" of Bezrukov came in 2002, after the premiere of the legendary series "The Brigade". In The Brigade, the actor appears in a completely new and unusual role for him as a criminal authority. The series shows the life of bandit groups in Russia, in the center of which is the "brigade" of Sasha Belov. At first, the series seems too pathetic and tough showing "dashing" nineties. But then it turns into a story about real male friendship, faithful love and strength of character. "Brigade", without exaggeration, deserves the status of a "cult" series of Russian cinema.
After the “Brigade”, Bezrukov became a very sought-after actor and received many invitations for auditions in other projects.
In 2003, the series "Plot" was released, in which Sergei played the image opposite to the hero of the "Brigade". Unlike Sasha Bely, this was the role of an honest, principled and vulnerable district police officer Pavel Kravtsov. The series was a great success and won the nomination "Best Actor in a Television".
Then the actor very often played biographical images of famous people in the past. These were the roles of Sergei Yesenin in the TV series Yesenin, Alexander Pushkin in the film Pushkin. The Last Duel, Vladimir Vysotsky in the film Vysotsky. Thank you for being alive, and footballer Nikolai Ranevich in the film The Match.
Especially worth noting is his role in the TV series "Yesenin" (2005). The actor dreamed of playing the poet in whose honor he was named from childhood. The script for the series was written by Bezrukov Sr. The actor very lively and talented conveyed in the picture the image of a Russian poet. At concerts and creative evenings, Sergei excellently reads Yesenin's poetry.
In subsequent years, the actor does not cease to amaze the audience with diverse images.
