Lyudmila Georgievna Ryumina, performer of Russian folk songs, was born on August 28, 1949 in Voronezh. She founded and before leaving life led the state team "Rus". The repertoire of the Honored Artist of Russia consisted mainly of folklore works. In addition to her main duties, the famous singer was the artistic director of the cultural center in Moscow.
Childhood and youth
Lyudmila’s childhood passed in the village of Vyazovoye in the Lipetsk region, and it was his folk artist who considered her homeland. The abundance of parents was low, and according to the singer, after birth, instead of a cradle, she slept in a wooden trough, which was placed on a Russian stove to provide heat. But it was life in such modest conditions that tempered character and made it possible to succeed in creativity.
After graduating from art school at the age of 18, the girl got a job as a graphic artist at a local combine. The skills acquired here by Lyudmila were later useful in the design and manufacture of concert costumes and the wardrobe of the members of her team.
Singing career
Along with production activities, the future famous artist began performing in the folk team "Voronezh Girls". Having a natural colorful voice, the young soloist entered the music school named after Ippolitov-Ivanov in Moscow. A talented performer was noticed by Valentina Efremovna Kladnina. A professional in her field helped Lyudmila to fully reveal herself in her chosen specialty. After graduating from an external school, which later became the state institute of culture, Ryumin led the children's choir for several years.
Feeling the need for further educational growth, the girl in the late 70s, being the vocalist of the Mosconcert, at the same time was studying at the Institute. Gnesins. Here, the student was also lucky with teachers, one of whom was People's Artist Nina Meshko.
